FIELD: earth cutting and moving machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: machine has working equipment with power drives in the form of hydraulic cylinders for frame with ground excavating unit to be turned and fixed in vertical and horizontal planes. Working member mounted on frame is made in the form of chain sections which can be turned around axis of drive shaft which is actuated by drive unit incorporating hydraulic cylinders. Follow-up device is provided with power drive in the form of hydraulic cylinder intended for turning and fixing of device. Support in the form of slide member is secured on its end and it can be turned in horizontal and vertical planes. Device for controlling positioning of working equipment relative to pipeline being exposed incorporates computer with data introduction unit. Inputs and outputs of computer are connected with working equipment turning angle sensors and facilities for signalling about position of working equipment. Frame can be provided with supports in the form of skis. Working member has sloping mechanism and its sloping members are connected with tension shafts and L-shaped levers which are attached to locking unit through telescopic link.
