FIELD: excavating machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: machine is intended for use in construction and overhaul repair of trunk pipelines, motor roads and railways, in erection of embankments, digging basins, trenches and other earth-moving operations. Machine has base undercarriage, ground evacuator, working attachment, and device for mounting of working attachment on base undercarriage. Mounting device is made in the form of frames which are connected to each other by means of first pivoted joint. First frame carries working attachment. Second frame is mounted on base undercarriage. Also provided is second pivoted joint. Power drives are used for performing turns in aforesaid first and second pivoted joints. Geometric axis of first pivoted joint in working position of machine is located perpendicularly to ground supporting surface of base undercarriage. Geometric axis of second pivoted joint with machine in working position is located in parallel to longitudinal axis of base undercarriage. Aforesaid embodiment of excavating machine allows for horizontal or sloping cutting at preset angle with increased width of excavation. Various profiles of digging is possible. Dynamic loads at reversing of working attachment are reduced. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 9 cl, 11 dwg
