FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: invention relates-to shock pulse compacting machinery and it can be used for layer-by-layer compacting of loams to form antifiltration screen. Proposed compactor contains frame with members for connecting with transport vehicle, tamping plate and tamping working member. Tamping plate rigidly secured on frame is provided with holes uniformly spaced over its surface to pass rods of tamping working members in form of impact mechanisms operating on fluid energy carrier. Rods of impact mechanisms are connected through holes in flexible lining to impact energy radiators to soil. Flexible is in contact with tamping plate in spaces between rod pass holes and is rigidly secured on frame only from one side. Fluid energy carrier source of impact mechanisms is secured through shock absorbers on frame playing simultaneously part of overweight.
