FIELD: oil field geophysics. SUBSTANCE: this relates to geophysical investigation of wells and can be used for determining and defining spatial positioning of bottom hole in cased and uncased wells. According to method, coordinates are determined on basis of recording period of spreading acoustic signals from points of their generation on day surface in well-head area down to bottom-hole of well. Recording of time period of spreading acoustical signals is effected by means of seismic receiver located in bottom-hole of well. Measuring of period of spreading acoustical signals is performed in at least four points of signal generation not lying in one straight line. According to obtained data (period of spreading acoustic signals and coordinates of their generation points), determined at computing module are parameters of dual-hollow hyperboloid, and then basing on these data calculated are coordinates of well bottom-hole.
