FIELD: nondestructive testing. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic device includes adder, measurement converter, amplifier, synchronous detectors of fundamental and combination harmonics in series and signal processing unit. Device is inserted with generator of clock pulses with formers of synchropulses which outputs are connected to inputs of formers of fundamental and combination harmonics. Outputs of formers of fundamental harmonics are connected to input of adder and to control inputs of synchronous detectors of fundamental harmonics. Outputs of formers of combination harmonics are connected to control inputs of synchronous detectors. Circuits forming fundamental and combination harmonics of excitation signal of measurement converter are manufactured in the form of digital system connected to input of power amplifier. Circuits of synchronous detectors of fundamental and combination harmonics and signal processing unit are presented by computer system of spectral analysis and signal processing connected to output of amplifier. Clock generator is connected to inputs of digital and computer systems. Device provides for increased accuracy of nondestructive testing thanks to use of digital formation of signal and its digital processing.
