FIELD: pharmacology. SUBSTANCE: invention may be applied in medicine and biology, in particular, when investigating antioxidant property of drugs used to correct processes of peroxide oxidation of lipids. Aqueous solutions of inorganic-origin salts and bidistilled water are placed into oxygenator and perfusion is carried out by ozone-oxygen mixture with ozone concentration 1.2-1.6 mg/l, exposition time being 5-10 min. Two milliliters of ozonized solution is placed in cuvette and the latter is placed into light-impermeable chamber to determine level of light flux originated from spontaneous chemiluminescence of stream. Degree of expressed antioxidant activity is evaluated from the difference in chemiluminescence between test and reference solution samples. EFFECT: simplified procedure and increased accuracy in determining antioxidant activity. 1 tbl
