FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has wound dilator unit with spatula members and light guide of retroperitoneoscope illumination unit. Advanced design retroperitoneoscope illumination unit is longitudinally and transversely movably mounted on wound dilator carriage between rods in prescribed position by means of U-shaped clamp. Light guide with removable blades for performing retroperitoneoscopy is mounted inside the clamp. Lateral walls of the clamp have legs spaced in longitudinal direction in perpendicular relation to the walls for catching movable carriage from beneath. A threaded hole is made in horizontal strip of the clamp for clamping screw. Wound dilator spatulas are U-shaped and made as loops. Optic system with television units is brought through trocar and spatula lumen by means of one more pierce separated from the main wound. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of device operation; reduced risk of traumatic side effects in operating on children of any age. 4 dwg
