FIELD: medicine, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing molecular-soluble keratin (particle size is 1 mm, not above). Method involves the use of water containing 500 mg salts/1 l, not above, for solutions preparing at all stages of molecular-soluble keratin preparing. Keratin-containing raw is treated two-fold with alkaline solution based on sodium peroxide, hydrogen peroxide and sodium chloride, washed with water indicated above at an intermediate treatment with acid solution based on ortho-phosphoric and nitric acids followed by neutralization, pH stabilization, homogenization, fractional drying, milling and sterilization of the end product. The end product is biologically active material and can be used in medicine, food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Material provides decrease of wound healing time due to intensified exudate and necrotic tissues removal from wound surface and increases local immunity.
