FIELD: sanitary engineering. SUBSTANCE: anaerobic fermentation of organic waste can be used in biotoilets which need no sewerage. Such toilets are suitable for separately located dwelling houses, country cottages, etc. Device has horizontal body which is divided by partition into two successively connected sections. Installed in first section are units for separate charging of liquid and solid waste. Located in second section is unit for discharge of fermented mass. This unit by means of pump is connected with vessel for storing fermented mass. Unit for charging solid waste is provided with crusher connected with electric motor which is coupled to shaft of mixer having vertical spiral-shaped blades fitted over horizontal shaft. Body of device is provided with water jacket having heater in the form of electric heating element, warmth-keeping liner, and sensor of minimal and maximal levels of mass being fermented. Unit for charging liquid waste is connected to source of liquid mass by pipeline installed at incline towards body. Body is provided with removable side cover having L-shaped overflow pipe. Device allows for creating uniform heating and mixing of mass being fermented. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 2 dwg
