SUBSTANCE: annealed (oxa)-hydantoins have formula I where R¹ and R² are H or (C₁-C₄)-alkyl; R³ and R⁴ are H, (C₁-C₄)-alkyl or phenyl, or R³ and R⁴ together form carbocyclic ring, Q is residue of Q₁ or Q₅ having formula and respectively where W is O or S, R⁵ is H or halogen; R⁶ is halogen or CN; R⁷ is H, OR¹¹, CO₂R¹¹ or NHSO₂R¹⁶; R⁸, R⁹ is H, R¹⁰ is (C₃-C₆)-alkynyl; R¹¹ is (C₁-C₈)-alkyl, (C₃-C₈)-alkynyl, -alkoxycarbonyl alkyl, (C₂-C₈)-alkoxyalkyl or (C₁-C₈)-haloalkyl, R¹⁶ is (C₁-C₄)-alkyl, (C₁-C₄)-haloalkyl. Methods for their production is proposed together with herbicide composition on their base. Said herbicide composition in its effective amount is proposed for control of weeds which takes place by treatment of plants or soil with said composition.
