FIELD: railway track repair and maintenance equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has load-bearing frame with grinding tool which is replaceable relative to rail, tracing rollers, tool-carrying frame with guide rollers, and guide members. Load-bearing frame is connected with tool-carrying frame with possible power-turning around axis located along rail. At horizontal position of axes of rotation of tracing rollers located in parallel to axes of rotation of guide rollers, contact point of guide roller as determined by contact of its rolling surface and rail is distant from working surface of rail on which in this position device is resting by means of tracing rollers. Aforesaid device ensures accurate tracing of rail head profile and safety of servicing personnel. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 11 cl, 7 dwg
