FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device is designed for determination of concentrations of sugar-carrying solutions directly in technological circuit of sugar production by method of thermal physics by dependence of output voltage of thermal converters on concentration of sugar-carrying solutions. It includes heat exchanger , heater, main measurement converter of temperature, additional measurement converter of temperature, power supply source, digital voltmeter, second heat exchanger, cooler, second main measurement converter of temperature placed differentially with first main measurement converter of temperature , heat insulator positioned between first and second heat exchangers. Timer sets time of power supply to heater and cooler. Heater and cooler are integrated in one thermal module composed of two Peltier elements connected in series opposition. Heat exchangers are manufactured in the form of thin plates which area exceeds by one order area of surfaces of heat-releasing and heat-absorbing sides of thermal module. First and second main measurement converters are manufactured in the form of thermocouples. Heat exchanger is used as second electrode of thermocouple and their connection in opposition is carried out by electric connection of heat-insulated heat exchangers by thin conductor made from material of heat exchanger. Heat exchangers and heat insulator placed between them form sealed unit with thermal module and two main measurement converters of temperature connected to power supply source and voltmeter via sealed electric connector located in it.
