FIELD: mineral concentration, in particular, apparatuses for hydraulic classification and fractionation of mineral raw materials in ascending flow of liquid; may be used in gravity concentration of minerals and also in thickening of pulps, clarification of industrial waters and treatment of industrial sewage water. SUBSTANCE: classifier includes body with cylindrical chamber and conical bottom, inlet pipe for pulp supply and outlet pipe for discharge of sands, both located in lower part of classifier body; tangential branch pipes for water supply; discharging trough and branch pipe for discharge of air; cylindrical rings located coaxially inside the body with diameters reducing from top down; cylinder with airtight case above it located in body upper part coaxially to it with the same gap. Parabolic deflector with its opened part faces inlet pipe for pulp supply. The latter has from its inlet end, tube-like mixer made in the form of ejector whose upper part is connected to loading funnel inside which pneumohydraulic aerator is located for vertical motion. Axis of pneumohydraulic aerator coincides with ejector axis. EFFECT: higher efficiency of classification. 2 dwg
