FIELD: plastic working of materials, in particular, manufacture of connecting rigid tubular tip of flexible hose. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing squeezing die with axial cavity having two open ends, with one end being widened. Squeezing die may have two detachable halves. Method further involves placing rigid tubular member within free end of hose and positioning ring on hose end; positioning squeezing die so that widened end surrounds rings part to be squeezed and portion of die cavity is behind free end of hose; performing squeezing by providing relative axial motion between ring with hose and squeezing die. During movement of squeezing die ring may be retained against motion. Motion is performed from free end of hose along it to its other end. Motion and squeezing are stopped before part of widened end with smaller diameter reaches ring portion adapted for squeezing.
