FIELD: production of alloyed powder based on aluminum. SUBSTANCE: mixture with particles sizing 1-500 mcm and containing powders of aluminum, magnesium and one or more other alloying components is subjected to high-energy mechanical treatment in inert atmosphere. Energy consumption for mechanical treatment amounts to 106-107 kJ/kg of mixture and local power equals 104-105 kW/kg of mixture. Mechanical treatment of mixture is carried out to produce composite power with mainly spheroidal particles sizing on the average 1.5-10.0 times as large as average size of mixture particles. Mixture may contain alloying additions, mas.%: magnesium powder with particles size 40-100 mcm, 1-4; boron powder with particles size 1-5 mcm, 2-30; silicon carbide with particles size 1-15 mcm, 5-30; copper with particles size 20-100 mcm, 1-4. Main component of mixture is used in the form of aluminum powder with particles size 40-500 mcm. Alloyed powders based on aluminum are produced with content of boron or silicon carbide up to 30 mas.%. Alloyed powders have matrix microhardness within 2300-3000 MPa, their particles are mainly spheroidal in shape and sizing on the average 500-600 mcm, powder fluidity is within 65-80 s and aluminum matrix features uniform distribution of alloying elements. These properties ensure compatibility of powders at temperature of 420-450 C and satisfactory weldability of composite materials on their base. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 cl
