FIELD: stomatology. SUBSTANCE: stabilizing component in denture composition is a mixed incomplete salt of alkylvinyl ester copolymer and maleic acid of the general formula [-CH₂-(OR)CH-CH(COOH)CH(COOH)-]_n where R is C₁-C₄-alkyl; n - whole number, intrinsic viscosity is above 1.2 dl/g that contains 0.1-9.9% carboxy-groups neutralized with zinc or strontium cations, 0.1-25% sodium cations, 20-70% calcium cations and 10-40% free carboxy-groups and taste index less 0.7.
