SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to denture glues, adhesion compositions, which have a good strength of adhesion and an improved taste, and to a method with their application. Versions of the denture adhesive compositions contain from 25% to 45% of the composition weight, salts of a copolymer of alkylvinyl ether-maleic acid or anhydride, including a cation salt functional constituent, containing calcium ions in a specified quantity and sodium cations in the quantity from 0% to 5%, in fact, free or containing less than 0.1% of zinc cations, in a combination with a certain quantity of a free acid component. The said versions of compositions contain from 15% to 25%, of the composition weight, of carboxymethylcellulose, which has a molecular weight from 200000 to 1000000 dalton, and a carrier.

EFFECT: method for adherence of dentures with the oral cavity includes the application of the claimed compositions on the denture and/or oral cavity with further fastening of the prosthesis to the alveolar process or palate of the oral cavity.
