FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, lowered into well are pump-compressor pipes which in their lower part are provided with stopping sleeve. Then treating device is installed in pump-compressor pipes. By direct flushing at preset velocity, aforesaid device is brought to stopping sleeve. In result of hydraulic shock at disconnection of pipe space and annular space, depression is created on bed. For repeated creation of depression, device is lifted above stopping sleeve by means of reverse flushing. Device has body with locking member in the form of pressing collar, calibrating collars of outer diameter corresponding to inner diameter of pump-compressor pipes, sealing collars in upper part of body, stiffening rib of round cross-section over periphery. Aforesaid method and device enhance efficiency and safety of operation at reduced overall expenses. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
