METHOD OF HYDRAULIC ISOLATION OF FORMATIONS IN COMPLETION OF WELL CONSTRUCTION Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: oil-gas producing industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes decolmatage of well zone of water bearing bed from contaminating materials hindering isolation; formation of watertight barrier by treatment of said zone by hydraulic jets with use of hardening plugging mortar. In so doing, well zone of waterbearing bed is subjected to decolmatage by building-up of instantaneous deep pressure differential with value of 60-100 MPa. Pressure differential is alternated with reverse circulation until coming of pure fluid. Treatment by hydraulic jets with use of plugging mortar is carried out with formation of watertight barrier 50-52 mm thick. Method is used in completion of well construction before well casing, after preliminary treatment of bottom-hole formation zone. EFFECT: higher efficiency of hydraulic isolation jobs due to higher reliability and quality of jobs.
