FIELD: usage of multielement analysis in geology and mineralogy. SUBSTANCE: method consists in preparation of sample for analysis, taking of weight, placement of weight into gaseous- discharge chamber, transformation of gas and dust mixture formed in chamber into inductively-coupled plasma, excitation and emission of spectra in optical system, registration of spectra and obtainment of element composition of tested object. Device for realization of method includes following key units: sample feeding system with control unit, gaseous-discharge chamber with high-voltage spark discharge and power supply unit, burner of inductively-coupled plasma, spectral instrument with registration system, controlling and processing computer.
