PROCESS OF ADSORPTION CONCENTRATION OF COMPOUNDS IRREVERSIBLY ADSORBING ON METALS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2114424 C1

FIELD: adsorption concentration. SUBSTANCE: technical result of adsorption concentration of compounds irreversibly adsorbing on metals consists in fast, single-stage increase of concentration of adsorbate by 4-5 orders or to level ensuring usage of spectro-analytical methods of analysis sensitive to surface concentration of analyzed compound. Invention refers to field of adsorption of components, namely to process of adsorption concentration compounds irreversibly adsorbing on metals by application of electric field to electrochemical cell. Before concentration adsorption on liquid-metal electrode is performed from solution carrying adsorbed compounds under active mixing and electrode potential ensuring irreversible reaction. After settling concentration is carried out by decrease of electrode surface with irreversible adsorbed compounds with transfer of electrode from cell to capillary. EFFECT: fast increase of concentration of adsorbate. 1 cl
