FIELD: environment control. SUBSTANCE: method involves, first of all, spectrometric analysis of honeycomb foundation designed for hive mounting to eliminate measurement error in evaluating radioactive contamination of environment; measurement results are processed including radioactive background. Then pollen and propolis samples are taken many times from hives holding bee seed and installed on territory greater than radius of effective bee flight area. Honeycraft products are analyzed for radionuclides in samples, and degree of radioactive background is measured. Measurement data are corrected including time and location of honey and pollen plants to use bee seeds and products of honeycraft as sensors for sample thereby eliminating probable irradiation of personnel making bees do this work. Samples are accumulated and stored within maximum period of half-decay of measured radionuclides so as to organize library of data on probable development of radioactive pollution of given location. Measurement results are processed and compared including radioactive background so as to determine degree of radioactive contamination of location. EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy irrespective of effect of variations in sample radioactivity due to rain or wind; reduced labor consumption for taking samples, facilitated procedure; provision for analyzing and producing environmentally friendly honeycraft products. 1 dwg
