FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: swarm catcher has adjacent removable upper chamber and lower chamber, which are provided with opening for all species of bee-family. Walls of both chambers are made grid-like for passage of working bees. Lower chamber has hinged inclined cover. Upper chamber is more clear as compared to darkened lower chamber. Lower chamber bee-entrance is closed by four-linked hinged mechanism. Lower chamber rear wall has cavity for defining, together with front wall, passage allowing bees to pass from upper bee-entrance opening to lower bee-entrance opening and vice versa. EFFECT: simplified construction, increased efficiency in bee leading, reduced manufacture cost, wider range of bee handling operations, such as swarm transfer and improved ecology for forming new bee-families. 1 dwg
