FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of agriculture, namely to apiculture. Claimed device for swarm bee catching contains chamber with folding hinged door and means for device suspending. One of chamber butt ends is partially gridded and has opening, closed with excluder, under which arrival board is located. Inside chamber several frames are installed, one of which has built comb, the rest are with unrefined bee wax. Means for suspension is made in form of cylinder with bottom and cover, with located inside it movable rod with washer and spring. Rod rests on spring. Means for suspension is fixed on ceiling surface of chamber in such way that upper rod end through opening in cylinder cover goes outside. Door has fixed to it cable, one end of which is held by upper end of rod.
EFFECT: device combines functions of swarming place and hive, in case of long absence of bee keeper at apiary in period of swarming.
