FIELD: tobacco products.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a combustible smoking composition which contains combustible organic material containing tobacco, α-D-glucose pentaacetate dispersed in said combustible organic material, and dry extract of hop. α-D-glucose pentaacetate is included in smoking composition in an amount of about 0.1 to about 10 wt% of weight of entire smoking composition. Invention also relates to a smoking article comprising a rod containing said combustible smoking composition, and a filter placed at end of said rod.
EFFECT: smoking composition.
