FIELD: separation of gas mixtures and mixtures of gaseous isotopes. SUBSTANCE: gas centrifuge includes body, cylindrical vertical rotor and gas header which consists of concentrically arranged tubes to supply gas mixture and to withdraw fractions. Rotor is provided with main and additional vibration dampers. Additional vibration damper is made in the form of radially movable ring from antifriction material located in throat of rotor concentrically to external tube of has header having disc projections. Ring is located so that value of radial clearance between it and throat is smaller than that between main vibration damper and throat. Radially movable ring may be provided with limiter of its turning relative to vertical axis and with device for its centering. EFFECT: higher efficiency in rotor vibration dampening during its acceleration and gaining the working rotation speed. 4 cl, 3 dwg
