FIELD: vertical rotors of machines and devices fast- rotating in flexible damping supports, for example, gas centrifuges. SUBSTANCE: damper includes housing, movable member with bearing mounted on it and used as support for rotor shaft, chamber with damping fluid arranged in movable member and damping member mounted in chamber; damper is also provided with centering spring. Bottom of movable member is mounted in housing by means of hinge; centering springs are located in upper portion of movable member for keeping it in vertical position. Damping member is also mounted vertically in chamber by means of hinge. Damper is additionally provided with magnet mounted in housing; lower portion of damping member is made from ferromagnetic material for interaction with magnet. Besides that, damper is provided with additional damping member suspended inside movable member from flexible thread. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of damping rotor vibrations; avoidance of penetration of vapors of damping fluid in other cavities of rotor. 6 cl, 1 dwg
