SYSTEM OF METAL LEVEL REGULATION IN MOLD Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: metallurgy, more specifically, apparatuses for automatic means of steel continuous casting. SUBSTANCE: system has series-connected electromagnetic gage of metal level installed on mold, rejection filter, regulator, drive, actuating member and also transducer of motion of actuating member connected to regulator. Introduced into system are scaling unit, band-pass filter, transducer of vertical rocking of mold and comparison unit. Scaling unit is cut in between level gage and rejection filter. Band-pass filter is connected to output of scaling unit. Outputs of comparison unit are connected to band-pass filter and to transducer of mold vertical rocking, and output of comparison unit is connected to control input of scaling unit. EFFECT: stabilized frequency characteristics of system due to periodic stabilization of common differential coefficient of transmission in variation of absolute level, temperature and position of transducer. 1 dwg
