SUBSTANCE: water-jet propulsion plant includes water scoop, fixed ferrule with impeller, straightening apparatus and nozzle; width of water scoop passage is equal to diameter of ferrule; intake hole has rectangular shape in plan and area of inlet passage is equal to (0,65-1,2)πD2/4, where D is impeller diameter; surface of passage arch from intake hole as far as point of engagement with ferrule, as well as generatrix of impeller hub are convex-concave in form. Length of impeller hub is equal to (0.5-0.6) D and length of nozzle is equal to (0.5-0.65)D. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to reduction of hydraulic losses during passage of water flow. 3 cl, 2 dwg
