FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely to waterjet propulsion systems designed to drive ships. The waterjet propulsion system contains a shell mating with the water channel of the ship, in which an impeller with a smooth-radius conical hub with blades located on it is located, with blades having an area at the inlet of the impeller greater than the area at the outlet of the impeller. Inside the hub, a spline connection is made to the drive shaft, which has an identical spline connection at the other end to transmit torque from the ship engine. The impeller is connected via a threaded connection to the propeller shaft installed in the straightening blade block by means of bearing supports, sealing units and a cone with a sealing ring. An outlet nozzle with a replaceable annular nozzle installed in it and a curtain, on which a rod is installed to control the rotary nozzle and a flap of the reversing device is fixed, are attached to the block of straightening blades.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the working process in the waterjet propulsion system is achieved.
