FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for stabilization of earth structure which is built or being built on loose base, especially on swampy base. According to method, bore-holes are drilled with use of casing pipes along structure with cutting through its body, through underlying course of peat with embedding into mineral bottom. Then subsequently lowered into bore-holes is working electrode which is connected to electric pulsing unit. Bore-holes are filled with hardening material and electric charges are performed at level of lower part of bore-hole. Electrode is gradually lifted until creation along rows of bore-holes of counterfiltration walls which are made up of piles closely adjoining each other or crossing. Device for stabilization of earth structure has movable platform which is made up of four sections connected together by flexible link, and supports in the form of two rows of pipes located along earth structure in drilled bore-holes. Pipes in row which is most distant from longitudinal axis of earth structure create supporting members of supports, and pipes of other row create casing members for carrying out stabilizing operations. Installed on first section of platform as to direction of movement, is drilling machine, and installed on two following sections of platform are electric pulsing unit and pulling winches for movement of platform. Last section of platform carries slewing crane for extracting pipes from bore-holes. Application of aforesaid method and device ensures reduction of labour and material expenses, cuts time needed for carrying out operations, improves quality of stabilization and prolongs service life of earth structure.
