FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for stabilization of earth structure which is being built or been built already on loose base such as on swampy ground. According to method, drilled with utilization of casing pipes are bore-holes arranged along earth structure with driving through its body, underlying layer of peat with embedding into mineral bottom. At least number of bore-holes are drilled as inclined, and bore-holes adjacent to them are made inclined in opposite directions, but they are not crossing each other. Bore-holes which are inclined with respect to longitudinal axis of earth structure are made crossing the surface of mineral bottom at points which are coaxial to axes of their directions. After creation of bore-holes, successively lowered into them is working electrode which is connected to electric pulsing unit. Then, bore-holes are filled with hardening electric-conducting solution and electric discharges are performed with creation of non-crossing widenings for future piles and water filtration zones between them. Widenings and filtration zones are made in zone of peat layer or loose base. Device for stabilization of earth structure incorporates metal load-bearing movable platform, supports, and appropriate equipment for carrying out required operations. Platform is sectional and made up of two sections which are interconnected by rigid link. Sections of platform can be moved through distance corresponding to spacing between bore-holes. One section of platform carries drilling equipment, other section carries equipment for performing electrohydraulic discharges and filling of bore-holes with hardening electric-conducting material. Application of aforesaid method and device ensures reduction of labour and material expenses, cuts work performing periods and improves quality of stabilization together with prolonging service life of earth structure.
