FIELD: maintenance equipment for wells. SUBSTANCE: universal subsurface tool is intended for installing and extracting subsurface valves or instruments from seating nipples or pockets. Tool has hollow body with longitudinal slots and openings. Installed inside body is spring-loaded rod which is connected with body through pin which can be sheared by high force. Installed outside body is spring-loaded collet with flaps located in longitudinal openings. Collet limiters are located in longitudinal slots of body. Rod is made with recesses, upper bore and lower bore. Mounted on rod are free or spring-loaded bush with groove and ring which is fixed in lower bore. Collet limiter carries locking screws. Body of tool has upper and lower through-passages for pins which can be sheared by lower force. Application of single universal subsurface tool instead of two tools such as lowering tool and lifting tool cuts expenses and improves efficiency. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
