FIELD: mechanical engineering refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: sealing rings of sliding bearing are made for axial displacement; they are made from antifriction material. In the course of starting and stopping the bearing, sealing rings are pressed to working surfaces of bearing disk under action of springs, thus taking up the axial force. When pressure is being increased, springs are compressed, sealing rings, move axially and bearing starts working in mode of hydrodynamic lubrication, thus reducing wear of working surfaces and self-setting segments. EFFECT: reduced losses of power at friction. 1 dwg
