FIELD: seals producing technology. SUBSTANCE: end-face sealing unit can be used in chemical industry and refrigeration engineering. End-face sealing unit has intermediate cover, hollow body accommodating sealing assembly which is made up of two stationary sealing rings made of antifriction material. Also provided are two rotating counter-rings which are in contact with stationary sealing rings over end-face. Two rotating counter-rings are given possibility of axial displacement due to action of springs located in rotation cage. Sealing assembly is provided with two auxiliary sealing rings having sealing inserts which are kept in contact with rotating counter-rings. End-face sealing unit is provided with leakage outflow system which is made in the form of circular bore in internal side of hollow body, and two holes made in hollow body which are connected with circular bore. Aforesaid embodiment of end-face sealing unit substantially enhances its operational efficiency and cuts power loss due to friction. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 1 dwg
