FIELD: transport engineering; diagnosing vehicle electrical equipment, external lights in particular, in motion. SUBSTANCE: required information is taken from photosensors and is supplied to computer for processing according to preset program and algorithm. One group of photosensors installed on side of platform guide, records getting of vehicle on passage way. Other group of photosensors located on rolling surface in zone of more bright portion of light beam is designed for measuring luminous intensity of each headlight. Third group of photosensors is arranged along and in height of left-hand wall of room with possibility of checking left-hand horizontal light and shade section. Fourth group of photosensors installed on room ceiling is designed for checking serviceability of stoplights and licence plate lights. EFFECT: reduced labour intensity and time taken for diagnosing. 1 tbl
