PROCESS DETECTING CHANGE OF OIL QUALITY TRANSPORTED OVER PIPE- LINE AND SYSTEM FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: transportation of oil over pipe-lines. SUBSTANCE: process detecting change of quality of oil transported over pipe-line is based on measurement of quantity Q_in.i and quality index K_in.i with reception of each lot of product from each producer and on determination of average value K_out by each of these quality indices across outlet of pipe-line when oil is passed to consumer. In this case there is determined average value K_out by each quality index K_in when lot of oil is accepted at inlet to pipe-line from each producer by way of consistent measurements of accepted lots over specified time period by formula , where n is number of lots of oil from one producer over specified time period. Then average value K_out for each of quality indices across outlet from pipe-line is determined by consistent measurements of quality indices K_out.i for same time period foe lots of oil passed to consumer by Q_out.i in each formula and quality index is converted in terms of money to C which value is found by formula , where Q_out is amount of oil passed to consumers, Ck is specific cost of unit of quality index of oil, K is number of quality indices taken into account. EFFECT: system makes it possible to take stock and record quality of oil, to take accounts of change of quality of oil passed by various producers in terms of money. 5 cl, 4 dwg
