FIELD: superhigh frequency devices of M type. SUBSTANCE: cathode unit includes secondary-emission and autoemission parts. The latter is insulated from secondary-emission part and is tailored for keeping it under potential different from potential of secondary-emission part and causing autoemission. Magnetron may have structure supporting autoemission part and adopted for its electrical connection to external source of potential. Focusing flange of cathode unit may have through passage through which conductive element of autoemission part passes. Secondary-emission part can be manufactured in the form of spiral.
