FIELD: conversion engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves setting up series voltage resonance across resistive and/or resistive-reactive load circuit at meander fundamental frequency with respective reactive components (inductance coil, capacitor) inserted in series with load to ensure desired suppression of third and higher current harmonics through load; in case of nonlinear resistance of load and/or nonlinear reactance of mentioned components voltage of double (and higher) meander frequency and amplitude exceeding permissible value may build up across load which is corrected to desired value by voltage of double meander frequency and respective amplitude obtained by separating, say, sawtooth voltage from frequency spectrum synchronous with meander voltage shifted in phase through 180 deg. or close to this angle relative to phase of above- mentioned double meander frequency voltage across load; this voltage is added to that across load. EFFECT: reduced distortions of sine-wave voltage built up across load. 1 dwg
