SUBSTANCE: invention is related to monitoring gas discharges and can be used to study physical processes in gas-discharge devices, as well as to monitor the condition and performance characteristics of gas-discharge devices. A device for measuring the conductivity and impedance of a DC glow gas discharge plasma contains a source and a DC voltage meter, a DC current meter, and additionally contains an alternating voltage generator of tunable frequency, a measuring resistor, a separating capacitor, a measuring transformer, a resonant capacitor, a narrow-band alternating voltage amplifier, a synchronous detector, AC rectifier, DC amplifier, XY recorder, controlled phase shifter, voltage phase meter and ramp voltage generator.

EFFECT: identification of the components of the voltage drop across active, reactive and capacitive resistance, as well as expanding the functionality of the device.
