FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has protective container 1, ionizing radiation source 2, hose-ampule guide 4 with mechanism for coupling of therapeutic end piece 7 to it. Ampule guide 4 intended for displacement of radiation source is made multilayer with alternating layers of electric insulation 5 and conducting 6 materials. Electric contacts 9 connected to conducting layers and to device control system are positioned on mechanism which couples therapeutic end piece 7 to Ampule guide. Therapeutic end piece connecting mechanism includes spring-loaded bush 10 with current-conducting contact 11. Bush is coupled to therapeutic end piece 7 kinematically. When therapeutic end pice is coupled, contact 11 mounted on bush provides for electrical connection to control system of device through conducting layers of Ampule guide. EFFECT: improved ecological indices due to enhanced radiation safety. 2 dwg
