METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PROFILED PARTS OF FURNITURE COMPONENTS FROM CELLULAR PAPER FILLER Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: furniture manufacturing industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in manufacturing of three-dimensional furniture articles of complex configuration. To produce profiled parts of furniture components, cellular paper filler is treated with gluing material. Strips of gluing material are oriented parallel to bending profile. After that, forming is undertaken in pressing device and material is held up to complete drying of glue. Embedded members are used for strengthening edges of profiled parts in stiff furniture units. Embedded members are preliminarily formed to required configuration and then placed between cover plates treated with gluing material. Application of aforesaid method allows for simplification of furniture production technology, reduces amount of materials and labour needed. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 5 dwg
