FIELD: dairy industry. SUBSTANCE: mycelial fungi Blakeslea trispora (+)T, (-)T, (+)904 BKMF, (+)903 BKMF, (+)812 BKMF are grown separately and then together on nutrient medium. Nutrient medium has 4% soybean meal and 1.75% corn meal as carbon and nitrogen source, KH2PO4 at amount 0.05% as a phosphorus source, sunflower oil at amount 5% with 0.005% 2-amino-6-methylpyridine. Culturing is carried out under aerobic conditions for 86-92 h. Lycopin is extracted from biomass with sunflower oil followed by crystallization using ethanol and toluene and column chromatography. EFFECT: increased yield of lycopin.
