FIELD: mechanical engineering; pulse- operated variable-speed drives and pulse-operated inertial drives and devices. SUBSTANCE: free-wheel clutch has driving and driven half-clutches forming wedge cavity accommodating stop mounted on driving half-clutch. Stop case accommodates flexible member and stepped wedge having identical component parts arranged in several rows; their contacting surfaces have equal curvature radii. Stepped portion contacts effective surfaces of driving and driven half-clutches. Clutch is provided with insert contacting effective surface of driving half-clutch and stepped wedge providing restriction on side of its larger base. EFFECT: improved loading capacity and enlarged range of transmitted torque. 3 dwg
