FIELD: universal purging machines for pipes of public services, means of small-scale mechanization on building grounds, farms. SUBSTANCE: the machine has a punching flexible shaft, gripper, driving mechanism made in the form of a pulse variable-speed drive. The latter consists of a transforming cyclic mechanism with a controlled variable of the drive crank and a free-running wedge mechanism. The free- running mechanism has an eccentric and two spring-loaded wedges located in the wedge cavities between the eccentric and driven casing. The wedges have control grooves receiving the control link installed on the control roller located in the eccentric hole brought out behind the variable-speed drive body. The gripper is positioned on the driven casing of the free-running wedge mechanism and has a clamp for the flexible shaft and actuators. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of pipe purging due to pulsating nature of rotary motion and controllability of parameters, simplified design, expanded functional abilities. 11 dwg
