FIELD: nondestructive testing of belts. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for increased accuracy of measurement of parameters of belts that determine their serviceability and long operational life, elastic-dissipative characteristics and stability of dimensions of cross- section over length. Bed includes testing pulleys, drive motor, level with axis of oscillation on which lower pulley is put, unit of static loading with collection of weights, centrifugal oscillation exciter given rotation from controlled drive via shaft with elastic clutches and unit measuring amplitude and frequency of oscillation of lower pulley. Quality of belt is evaluated by assemblage of parameters taken under mode of forced resonance oscillations. Test duration amounts to 2-3 min without destruction of belt.
