FIELD: electrochemical treatment; may be used in electropolishing in various fields of engineering such as electrical and instrumentation engineering, in manufacture of musical instruments and in decoration of furniture industry. SUBSTANCE: treated part is polished in solution of electrolyte for 30-300 s with application of voltage of 110-360 V, current density of 1000-18000 A/sq.m and electrolyte temperature of 320-360 K. Electrolyte is used in the form of ammonium salts of inorganic and lower carboxylic acids with additives of water-soluble organic and inorganic substances which form complex compound with alloy metals. EFFECT: extended process potentialities due to treatment of high-temperature alloys and nonferrous metal alloys and increased nomenclature of treated articles.
