FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolytic-plasma polishing of metals works, mainly made of chrome-bearing stainless steel and alloys, and also titanium and titanium alloys, and can be used in turbomachinery during the treatment of blades. Method includes product immersion into electrolyte, forming around the treated surface of product of steam and gas envelope discharge ignition between treated product and electrolyte by means of feeding on the product of positive relative to electrolyte electric potential and polishing, with at first steam and gas envelope is formed by means of product induction heating, then it is implemented discharge ignition between treated product and electrolyte, after what it is cut off induction heating of the product and it is heated product during the discharge keeping in steam and gas envelope between the product and electrolyte.
EFFECT: improving of metal products polishing.
