FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used for removing gas-hydrates in gas wells and/or for removing asphaltene-resin-paraffin and paraffin-hydrate depositions in pump-compressor pipes and bottom-hole zone of bed in recovering oil. Body of device is manufactured from alkali metal, alkali-earth metal or alkali-reacting metal in the form of hollow sphere or in the form of pipe manufactured from aluminium, zinc or water-soluble or oil-soluble compound on alkali-soluble base. Used as chemically active material which fills hollow body are alkali metals or their alloys or hydroxides of alkali metals or layer-by-layer located alkali metal and calcium chloride. Ratio of mass of chemically active material to mass of device body is 1:0.05-0.5. Maximal dimension of body made in the form of pipe in lateral cross-section is 4-50 mm, length of body is 4-1000 mm. Body made in the form of sphere has maximal dimension or diameter of 4-50 mm. Used as water-soluble or oil-soluble compound is bitumen or soluble glass or colophony and bitumen which are fused together with their mass ratio of 1: 0.1-0.5 or lead oxide or lead carbonate. Used as alkali-soluble base is aluminium or zinc foil. Pipe in its lateral cross-section can be of rectangular or convex-concave configuration. Hollow body is perforated. Area of perforations takes from 0.1 to 10% of side surface area. Surface of chemically active material is isolated by easily-fusible compound which is made up of fused paraffin and polyethylene with mass ration of paraffin to polyethylene of 1: 0.01-0.5. Application of device adds efficiency in destructing gas-hydrate plugs in gas wells and in removing asphaltene-resin-paraffin and paraffin-hydrate depositions in oil wells.
