FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: stator having profiled inner surface is provided with cylindrical rotor fitted on shaft. Rotor has slots and slides. Diameter of end plates secured on rotor exceeds maximum size of stator; end plates have blind slots coinciding with slots of rotor in which slides are fitted. Sealing rings located on end surfaces of stator are pressed to inner surfaces of end plates. Profile of stator in cross section has form of local curve described by one or several curves with common center of coordinates coinciding with center of rotor. Cooling system is made in form of passages in end plates, rotor and slides. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
